My Work Area

Talina, over at HarvestofDailyLife  was nosy curious about her reader’s work/computer areas.  So, here is a pic of my work area – no retouching or cleaning was allowed.   I have some of my fairies, pics of my grandma who is 92 now, my fish tank, my ebay stuff for sale and my computer software and books near by.

And, since I had the camera on, I wanted to share one of my orchid plants…. it has FIVE stems of flowers this time!  I put the pot in the floor so that the flowers would show better than in the window where I keep it.  Archie could not resist the fun. :-)   Notice the upper left hand corner.. those are some buds that I am waiting for to open.

  • We lost our orchid plant when we moved last year… Someone knocked it over and it snapped :-(
Yours looks so amazing, see you can garden!

    Oh your desk is orderly.

  • Your desk is quite orderly and work friendly too. I’d never get anything done if I had a fish tank to gaze at. That would be worse than a window for distraction.

The orchid is beautiful. I’m very impressed with people who can keep more than the most basic and hardy plants not only alive, but thriving.

  • I love the fishtank, better than a screen saver! I like the extra shelf above the desk, it frames the space, if that makes sense. I am anal about my back facing a room, I like to face out, so I have never had my desk facing a wall. The sad part is, it really limits how I set myself up, and I shortchange myself on storage etc, as I can’t really build my stuff up, just out,, lol.

  • Thanks for the comment on my blog. I love you because you didn’t notice the dust. May all my visitors (virtual and real) be so kind!

One small request: more horse photos! The are beautiful and regal animals.
