February 10th, 2010This is my sad sad barn after the storm a few weeks ago..

west side snow level
standing on that snow to take this roof shot
east side snow level
and standing on that snow to get the worst of the roof
but on the bright side…. this is my bedroom view and it really is pretty when the barn is out of view LOL!

My bottom line is at least a new roof, of course…. depends on the insurance settlement as to how much more can be rebuilt. I think the walls were damaged too but the ins adjuster needs to agree with me! Also, there is the unknown of what is hidden under all of that snow that will be claimed as a loss.

So did the insurance agree to cover it? I say new barn in a new location… come spring of course.
